Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop team members.

You will assist in merchandising, open/close procedures, scheduling, payroll records, loss prevention, and ensuring cleanliness and safety across the store.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), prior retail management experience, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas, displays, and cleanliness.
• Support scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention activities.
• Ensure safety guidelines and policies are followed.
