Core Development and Management-Planet Fitness in Haverhill, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily gym operations and ensure a welcoming Judgement Free Zone® for members. You will support staff, drive sales goals, and maintain a high standard of customer service.

The role requires leadership, reliability, and strong communication. Full-time schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Involved in all front desk related activities including: Answer phones in a friendly manner, Check members into the system, New member sign-up, Take tours.
• Facilitate all member requests, issues and questions.
• Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
• Assist in ordering of supplies using budget based on club requirements.
• Assist in tracking statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, and annually).
• Backup support for any employee who is absent.
