Job summary

Ambrosia QSR is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a single restaurant in Portland. The role requires open availability, full-time hours, and coordinating shifts around the General Manager.

You will coach staff, manage shifts, and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hands-on management experience in fast-paced settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with POS systems and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv Safe training & certificate preferred.
• Prior experience with a POS system.
• 1–2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop new and existing team members while adhering to training plans and systems.
• Coordinate team meetings, including pre-shift and safety committee meetings.
• Lead by example with a guest-first mindset and outstanding service.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including break laws and timekeeping.
