Job summary

Lush Handmade Cosmetics North America is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the Shop Manager and lead a vibrant retail team. You will drive exceptional customer experiences, promote our ethical values, and manage daily operations to achieve sales goals.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail supervisory experience, strong communication, and a passion for skincare. The role offers a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with opportunities to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills.
• Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Experience: exceed daily sales goals and create a unique, inclusive customer experience.
• Brand education: explain our values and ethical stance in-store and in the community.
• Product knowledge: deepen knowledge and provide informed recommendations.
• Drive sales: monitor metrics and budgets to deliver profitable results.
• Team Leadership: support staff on the floor, remove obstacles, and motivate the team.
