GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in Texas. You’ll support daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service on every shift.

The role emphasizes teamwork, shift coverage, and hands-on leadership to drive store performance. You will manage cash handling, inventory, and merchandising while fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical readiness for cleaning and field duties.
• Minimum age 21+ years.
• Proficient English communication and basic math.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Must have or obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager in the Store Manager's absence.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and store deposits.
• Provide leadership that motivates the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
