Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our high-energy convenience store running smoothly across all shifts. You’ll support the Store Manager, coach a team, run the register, and lead in operations, training, scheduling, and merchandising to deliver great customer service.

You’ll need open availability, be comfortable with weekends/holidays, and have reliable transportation. A Food Safety Certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Open availability and ability to work weekends/holidays.
• Retail leadership experience preferred.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned
