Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for its high-energy convenience store in Massachusetts. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, and coach a team to deliver excellent customer service while upselling products and promotions.

This role involves hiring, training, scheduling, and stepping in as acting manager on occasion. The position emphasizes open availability for weekends and holidays, with a focus on maintaining a clean, fully stocked store and strong customer

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays and varied shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and vehicle access.
• Able to perform cleaning, stocking, and basic store upkeep.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and grow in retail leadership.
• Must have or obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
