Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Cobbs Creek, VA is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our busy convenience store energized on every shift. You’ll support the Store Manager, run the register, and coach a frontline team to deliver great customer service.

Open availability is a must with weekend, holiday, and second or third shift work. You’ll help hire, train, schedule staff, manage inventories, and oversee cash handling and store financials.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Must have (or obtain) Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when needed.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pump areas.
• Create and manage team schedules and cash handling.
