Job summary

Randy James Inc., a Jimmy John’s franchisee in Missouri, seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee store operations alongside the General Manager and uphold Jimmy John’s standards.

You will lead by example, manage shift duties, train crew, and ensure service excellence while supporting growth opportunities and competitive benefits. This role offers full-time hours, on-site work, and pathways to a salaried GM position through strong performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week or more as needed.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)/fast food; managerial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-stress store environments.
• Organize priorities with minimal supervision.
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to improve store and staff.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations in service and store cleanliness.
• Supervise all financial aspects of food cost and labor goals for shifts and periods.
• Prepare and follow labor schedules and product projections.
• Train, supervise, and motivate crew members.
• Prepare products and maintain quality to Jimmy John's standards.
• Monitor and operate store service equipment.
