Zaxby’s is seeking a hard-working, outgoing Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in delivering exceptional service and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced restaurant. This full-time role emphasizes team development, guest experience, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing daily operations, inventory, and financial controls, while fostering a positive work environment and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff; support GM in hiring, training, scheduling.
• Monitor performance; provide feedback; address issues per policy.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, productive work environment.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations; opening/closing; shift execution.
• Use store management systems to track inventory, sales, performance.
• Manage workflow to maintain speed of service and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory and brand requirements.
• Place and receive inventory orders; coordinate with GM.
• Monitor and solve operational problems in real time.
• Manage labor costs vs sales; conduct inventory counts; address variances in COGS.
• Reconcile daily cash drawers and deposits; ensure secure card processing.
• Encourage team to delight guests and handle guest concerns.
