Job summary

Zaxby's in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in delivering fast, friendly service and operational excellence in a busy fast‑casual setting.

You will lead front‑of‑house and kitchen teams, boost guest satisfaction, manage daily operations, scheduling, inventory, and adherence to health and safety standards while supervising staff and driving performance in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience in a fast-food environment.
• Food safety knowledge and commitment to health and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff and support GM in hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address issues per policy.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations—opening, closing, shifts.
• Track inventory, sales, and performance metrics using store systems.
• Maintain adherence to health, food safety, and brand requirements.
• Place and receive inventory orders with the GM, manage costs.
• Handle guest concerns and ensure efficient service in a high-volume setting.
