Job summary

Wingstop Assistant Manager – Driving Operations & Team Success is a hands-on hourly role in Manteca, CA, supporting the General Manager and leading shifts to ensure brand standards and guest satisfaction.

You will coach Crew Members and Shift Leads, assist with hiring and onboarding, and ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness. This position offers competitive pay and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model exceptional guest service; resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new team members.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Step into operational roles (front-of-house and back-of-house) as needed to support the team.
• Help drive team performance, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
