Job summary

Sizzling Platter LLC operates Wingstop restaurants in Montclair, CA. The Assistant Manager role supports the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations, leads shifts, and ensures guest experiences meet brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coach crew members, assist with hiring and onboarding, ensure food quality and safety, handle cash and opening/closing procedures, and help drive a positive team culture with overtime eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and onboarding support to crew and leads.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve concerns promptly.
• Assist with hiring, training and onboarding new team members.
• Ensure food quality, safety and cleanliness standards are met consistently.
• Perform opening/closing procedures including cash handling and reporting.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering, receiving and stock management.
• Support the General Manager and step into front- or back-of-house roles as needed.
