SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Palatine, IL to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and supervise team members, oversee customer service, and ensure food quality, safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure food service meets standards
• Performs opening and/or closing duties
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control
• Completes weekly inventory and maintains records
• Reinforces customer service focus and resolves guest complaints with supervisor input
• Ensures compliance with employee handbook and practices
