Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Texas to support the General Manager in running the drive-in operations. You will train and coach team members, supervise carhops and skating carhops, and ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and safety.

You will work to maintain staffing levels, handle inventory, and perform opening/closing duties while fostering a customer-focused environment and resolving guest concerns efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience managing shifts without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily drive-in operations.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and quality standards.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed and monitor staffing and inventory.
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints promptly.
