Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and assist other team members to ensure quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, aiming for an enjoyable guest experience on every visit.

The role requires managing shifts, scheduling, inventory, and adherence to policies, while maintaining customer service standards and addressing guest requests promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to train and coach team members to meet standards.
• Strong leadership and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help manage drive-in restaurant operations and directing staff.
• Train and support employees to ensure quality food, safety and efficiency.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as needed.
• Monitor staffing and inventory levels and control food costs.
• Complete weekly inventory and maintain records and documentation.
• Address guest requests and resolve complaints with supervisor support.
