Job summary

Design Within Reach in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead sales and coaching, partnering with the General Manager to meet store goals. You’ll balance client sessions, leadership initiatives, and staff development to drive performance and client satisfaction.

Travel for in-home consultations and engagement with trade professionals will be required while you educate clients on our iconic product stories and maintain showroom standards.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with direct reports, peers, and clients.
• Proficiency with MS Office, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs.
• Able to move objects weighing more than 20 pounds and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Grow business weekly by using company programs to manage client lifecycle and meet sales goals.
• Assist in maintaining the store's design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Create client floor plans and design presentations.
• Travel for in-home client consultations and visits to local trade professionals.
• Attend store meetings, product training, and utilize resources to increase product knowledge.
• Directly manage all Sales Assistants and Studio Interns.
