Job summary

Ziggi’s Coffee, LLC seeks an Assistant Manager to help run daily operations, coach team members, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will collaborate with the General Manager to maintain quality standards and department efficiency, while modeling friendly service and strong work ethic.

You will help onboard new hires, train staff, and nurture a positive store culture where safety, inclusivity, and teamwork are prioritized. This role strengthens leadership across shifts and supports brand values.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of leadership experience in a coffee shop, cafe, or similar fast-paced setting.
• Strong grasp of daily store operations, drink quality standards, and service fundamentals.
• Able to lead by example, give and receive feedback, and step into any role as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven reliability and ability to take initiative without supervision.
• Completion of required training modules and a strong understanding of brand values.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to lead the team and maintain day-to-day operations.
• Support new hire onboarding, hands-on training, and continual team development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment that prioritizes guest experience and team well-being.
• Communicate consistently and clearly with the General Manager, store owners, and team members.
• Execute administrative duties including ordering inventory, preparing deposits, and entering invoices.
• Assist in upholding health, safety, and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Step into leadership during GM absences and serve as a reliable decision-maker on shift.
