Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a capable shift lead/assistant manager to stand in when the Site Manager is unavailable. The role includes ordering and stocking, training new staff, and teaching opening/closing procedures and loading techniques.

You will train the team on Fast Pass sales, respond to messages promptly, and craft schedules while assisting with monthly team meetings and supervisor courses. A customer-focused, professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management experience preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building and strong sales/customer service abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending; train new hires
• Train on opening/closing checklists and loading techniques
• Train Fast Pass sales techniques to the team; respond to voicemails/emails promptly
• Create effective schedule; supervise PM; support Site Manager in monthly meetings
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses; supervise teammates needing training
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown
