Job summary

Circle K in St. Charles, IL is seeking a supervisor to act as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. You will order and stock vending, train new hires, and lead by example in scheduling and customer service.

The role requires 3+ years in retail with at least 1 year in supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with computers. This position includes a competitive benefits package and on-site responsibilities at a car wash environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong work ethics and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending.
• Effectively provide training to new hires.
• Train on opening/closing checklists and loading techniques.
• Train Fast Pass sales techniques to the team.
• Respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
• Create an effective schedule.
• Oversee car wash vacuum system operation and maintenance.
• Support Site Manager in monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
• Supervise teammates completing PM and assess training needs.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
