Job summary

Halfords, the UK's largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business, is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the Centre Manager, balancing hands-on workshop duties with daily sales and customer service responsibilities.

You will lead by example, coach colleagues, and help drive profitability while maintaining high safety and quality standards. A Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance is preferred, with a valid driving licence and IT aptitude.

• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
• Experience in coaching, training, and developing colleagues in the moment.
• Strong technical knowledge in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
