Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant Manager in Tall Timbers, LA to lead daily operations, protect profitability and deliver guest-focused service. You will work under the Restaurant General Manager and supervise a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members to meet standards and speed of service.

You will coach staff, manage inventory, place orders, monitor assets and cash controls, and ensure preventative maintenance and brand compliance in a fast-paced QSR environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L to influence profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory costs and conducts Daily, Weekly and Monthly inventory inspections.
• Places and receives inventory truck orders; maintains asset list.
• Ensures preventative maintenance of facility and equipment per company standards.
• Maintains cash controls and security procedures (e.g., cash drawer, safe counts).
• Motivates and directs team to deliver accurate, fast, friendly service in a clean facility.
• Directs restaurant team toward efficient preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within speed guidelines.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
• Coaches and provides feedback to shifts coordinators and team members to raise performance.

POSITION OVERVIEW:The Assistant Manager (AM) is the operations leader of the restaurant focused on profitability, Guest service, people development and operations management. The AM supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in managing the daily operations of a single restaurant, driving key performance outcomes.
