The NOW Massage Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead a new boutique and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role involves coaching the team, managing front desk operations, and driving sales while maintaining the brand standards.

You’ll work with the General Manager to train staff, manage shifts, and ensure smooth daily operations in a welcoming, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality, wellness, retail, fitness, or a similar guest-focused business.
• Previous shift lead, supervisory, or assistant management experience preferred.
• Membership sales or wellness industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shifts, support opening and closing procedures, and keep the team organized and focused.
• Work at the front desk, assisting with reservations, guest check-in and checkout, phone inquiries, and membership sales.
• Coach Experience Guides on hospitality, memberships, service enhancements, retail sales, and front desk procedures.
• Support the General Manager with recruiting, onboarding, and training team members.
• Address guest and member concerns with care and professionalism, escalating issues when appropriate.

Assistant Manager — The NOW Massage Rancho Cucamonga

The NOW Massage is bringing its signature massage experience to Rancho Cucamonga, and we’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help bring our new boutique to life. This is an opportunity to help build a team, create a welcoming environment, and introduce our community to a space designed to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for opening and closing shifts.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager partners with the General Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly, support the team, and deliver an exceptional guest and member experience.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, coaching others, and driving sales through thoughtful service. You’ll work alongside our Experience Guides at the front desk while helping with training, shift leadership, and operational follow-through. As manager on duty when assigned, you’ll lead by example and bring The NOW’s Brand Truths to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shifts, support opening and closing procedures, and keep the team organized and focused.
• Work at the front desk, assisting with reservations, guest check-in and checkout, phone inquiries, and membership sales.
• Coach Experience Guides on hospitality, memberships, service enhancements, retail sales, and front desk procedures.
• Support the General Manager with recruiting, onboarding, and training team members.
• Address guest and member concerns with care and professionalism, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Help coordinate shift coverage and communicate scheduling needs to the General Manager.
• Assist with inventory, supply ordering, and other routine administrative tasks.
• Maintain boutique standards for cleanliness, presentation, and safety.
• Communicate team needs and performance concerns to the General Manager and follow through on assigned priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality, wellness, retail, fitness, or a similar guest-focused business.
• Previous shift lead, supervisory, or assistant management experience preferred.
• Membership sales or wellness industry experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working toward sales goals and coaching others to succeed.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
• A warm, professional approach to guest service and team leadership.
• Willingness to work alongside the team in a busy, hands‑on environment.
