Job summary

IHOP restaurants is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the restaurant profitably, enforcing procedures and ensuring top service. This role focuses on cost control, customer satisfaction, and presenting a professional restaurant and team image.

The candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in building sales, maximizing profits, and developing staff, while maintaining compliance with state certifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications meeting state requirements preferred.
• Strong team leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of a restaurant environment.

As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the Restaurant Manager in operating the restaurant profitably within the established practices and procedures of Company Operations. Requirements
