Cinema Carousel in Muskegon, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager who is fun, driven, compassionate, mature and understands servant leadership. You will support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to build a healthy, safe and positive culture and to deliver Celebrated service to employees, vendors and guests.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership experience preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Excellent organization and ability to work under deadlines.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee several areas of operation: box office, ushering, concessions, group events, projection, guest relations, etc.
• Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure a well‑maintained building and a safe, secure and healthy environment for our employees and guests.
• Complete daily paperwork, cash handling and some basic accounting.
• Display a guest‑centric attitude by coaching and bringing accountability to the team with Celebrated Service and other core values.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with company personnel systems and state/federal employment laws.
• Attend management meetings and other meetings, as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee several areas of operation: box office, ushering, concessions, group events, projection, guest relations, etc.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE

• One year of leadership experience preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• Must have open availability and be available to work weekends and holidays
• Enthusiastic, honest, empathetic, kind, self‑motivated, well‑organized, detail‑oriented, knowledgeable, and responsible
• Able to work well within deadlines and under pressure
• Successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, and listen attentively to guests and employees.
• Ability to walk, stand and exert fast‑paced mobility for entire shift.
• Must have a good sense of balance, be able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, climb & descend stairs and frequently lift as much as 40 lbs.
