Job summary

Wetzel's Pretzels in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead bakery operations in the General Manager's absence. You will supervise staff, ensure product quality, manage scheduling, and uphold company standards while delivering excellent guest service.

This role requires 30–40 hours per week with weekend availability; ServSafe certification is encouraged and fees covered by the company. Reliable transportation and a positive, hands-on leadership style are essential.

Assistant Manager at Wetzel's Pretzels

As an Assistant Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the bakery in the General Manager's absence. You will ensure compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including supervision and training of staff, product preparation and delivery, customer relations, bakery maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

The ideal candidate must be available to work 30-40 hours per week, and overtime when needed. Must have reliable transportation. Previous food experience is a plus! The candidate will be expected to obtain a ServSafe license (all fees will be paid by company).

Responsibilities:
