Wetzel's Pretzels is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily bakery operations in the General Manager's absence. You will supervise staff, ensure food prep quality, and uphold safety standards while handling scheduling and inventory needs.

The ideal candidate will have 30-40 hours per week availability, reliable transportation, and a ServSafe license (fees paid by the company). Previous food experience is a plus, and employee benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Direct all daily operations of the bakery in the absence of the General Manager
• Supervise and train employees, ensuring all food preparation is complete
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members
• Assist in day-to-day operations including scheduling, ordering, and team development
• Ensure compliance with safety and security policies
• Maintain facility, equipment, and grounds through regular maintenance
• Ensure compliance with company standards and store audit requirements
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain consistent product quality
• Perform all tasks including cashiering, rolling, baking, and expediting
