Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an Assistant Manager to deliver quality customer service and food products in line with Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen standards. You will assist with and learn restaurant management responsibilities, driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in a restaurant leadership position, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass background checks and certifications where required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification where required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Assistant Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
