Dairy Queen is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to deliver quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen, while supporting restaurant management responsibilities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety and service guidelines, with opportunities to learn and grow into leadership tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in a restaurant management role (Shift Manager/Assistant Manager or similar).
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass background and motor vehicle checks.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification where required.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication in English.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Assistant Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
