Job summary

Conrad’s Seafood Restaurant in Abingdon, MD is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and support events and promotions.

The role requires hands-on leadership, staff development, and a focus on delivering a positive guest experience. Proficiency with Toast and Canva is preferred, along with strong digital tooling skills.

Qualifications

• At least two years of restaurant management experience is required.
• Previous serving and bartending experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of front-of-house restaurant operations.
• Excellent guest-service and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating employee schedules.
• Proficiency with Toast and Canva preferred.
• Experience using Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, email, social media, and other digital tools.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other shifts based on business needs.

• Coordinate in-house events such as bingo, trivia, themed nights, and other guest promotions.
• Create employee schedules based on staffing and business needs.
• Complete assigned administrative tasks and projects accurately and on time.
• Maintain organized schedules, documents, flyers, and event information.
• Create flyers and promotional materials using Canva.

We are seeking an experienced, energetic Assistant Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and support our in-house events and promotions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can confidently run a shift, develop employees, maintain service standards, and create a positive experience for our guests. The right candidate will also be organized, creative, and comfortable using technology to help promote events such as bingo, trivia, themed nights, and other activities designed to bring guests into the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
