Job summary

Subway - 21853-0 in Fall River, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations with a focus on guest experience, food quality, and restaurant presentation. You will supervise a team, maintain standards, and help drive promotions and events.

You’ll manage 4–12 staff, assist with scheduling, training, and inventory, and ensure safety and security. Full-time and part-time day/evening/weekend shifts vary by location. Training provided.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
