Job summary

Subway is looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Tiverton restaurant. You will supervise a 4-12 person crew, ensure high guest satisfaction, manage inventory, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

You’ll participate in scheduling, promotions support, training, and hands-on involvement with food preparation and POS systems. Strong communication and supervisory experience are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant operation experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience and service.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to standards.
• Keep restaurant clean, functional and attractive.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
