Subway in Oregon is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations and ensure guest satisfaction. You will oversee a small team, manage inventory, and uphold food quality and restaurant cleanliness.

The role requires strong communication and supervisory skills, with on-the-job training provided. Full-time or part-time shifts (day/evening/weekends) vary by location and compensation will be discussed at hire.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Restaurant operation experience, preferably with supervisory experience.

• Oversee daily operations, inventory, and POS duties.
• Assist in planning and scheduling shifts and staff supervision.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things:

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
