Job description

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products when running the restaurant. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA, which is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service at every visit. Some managers serve as Assistants to the General Manager. Assistant Manager responsibilities include managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.

Qualifications

Assistant Managers must be full‑time with open availability. Previous managerial experience is required, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with flexible schedules, enjoy a fast‑paced environment, and be 18 years or older.
