Job summary

West Quality Food Service, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support restaurant operations and uphold the highest standards of efficiency and quality across all areas.

You will help ensure customer satisfaction through quick, friendly service, maintain cleanliness, manage equipment, cash control, scheduling, inventory, and cost controls, and foster a positive atmosphere for staff and guests. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast food operations and production procedures.

• Familiarity with hospitality guidelines and scheduling principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management responsibilities and ensure efficiency and quality of all operations within the restaurant.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service, quality products, and a clean environment; maintain a positive atmosphere among employees and customers; ensure knowledge and operation of equipment.
• Stand/walk for majority of shift, with lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional stooping.

The Assistant Manager will assist with management responsibilities and ensure efficiency and quality of all operations within the restaurant.

Responsibilities of this position include ensuring customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service, quality products, cleanliness, creating and maintaining a positive and cooperative atmosphere among employees and customers while maintaining knowledge and operation of all equipment.

A qualified candidate must have basic understanding of fast food operations, production procedures, deployment procedures; have ability to master cash control, understand and ensure adherence to Quality, Service, Cleanliness, Hospitality guidelines, basic principles of sales forecasting and scheduling, cost control, inventory, profit and loss statements and personnel administration.

Candidate must be able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 90% of shift time.

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
