Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a store manager in a leadership role to oversee daily operations, staff development, and customer service excellence. The position includes managing performance metrics and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires supervisory experience, the ability to motivate a team, and the physical capacity to stand and lift as needed. Starting pay is competitive, with future opportunities for advancement within Palm Beach Tan.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to motivate and lead others.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Other duties as assigned; reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and staff management.
• Interview, hire, and develop employees for the team.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Meet performance metrics and coaching targets.
• Analyze daily sales to maximize revenue and efficiency.
• Ensure banking, safety, and legal requirements are followed.
• Control labor, inventory, and maintenance costs.
• Assign and supervise daily tasks to keep the store organized.

Starting pay $18.00 plus commission!

Responsibilities

• This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
