Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a store manager in Maryland. The role starts with a 5-week management training course featuring performance metrics, followed by leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

The position requires supervising staff, hiring, and developing employees while maintaining a positive store environment, controlling labor and inventory costs, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to motivate others and lead by example.
• Ability to stand, bend and walk for long periods.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to undergo training.

Responsibilities

• Attend a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Interview, hire, and develop store staff.
• Create a positive environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help employees meet theirs.
• Analyze daily sales to maximize revenue.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign and follow up on daily tasks to keep store organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues.
