Job summary

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Burleson, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards, training and coaching the team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role oversees daily operations in the RGM's absence, drives performance, safety, and food quality, and helps with talent recruitment.

It offers a 50-hour work week with standard pay for 40 hours and time-and-a-half for 10 hours, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control and inventory.

• Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring Team Members with a culture of equity and belonging.
• Act like an owner by assisting with P&L management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take actions to optimize performance.
• Support the RGM in facility maintenance and health and safety standards.

Job description

As an Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of our restaurant's success, supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions and driving the team toward excellence. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' adherence to shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards. Take charge of restaurant operations in the RGM's absence.
• Collaborate with the RGM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback. Address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions, or escrow to the RGM when necessary.
• Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring Team Members, while driving a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging.
• Act like an owner by assisting with Profit & Loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance.
• Support the RGM in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.

IS THIS YOU?

• 2+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor and reviewing financial reports.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
