Goldfish Swim School Bedford is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, lesson quality and safety, cash handling, customer service, and the retail/vending departments.

The role includes managing party operations, staff training, and ensuring smooth scheduling and reporting across all platforms. A strong communicator with team spirit is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls daily operations to ensure school runs per Goldfish SOPs.
• Helps General Manager and other managers fulfill daily tasks.
• Manages staff to ensure high productivity and positive employee satisfaction.
• Interacts with deck staff and swim instructors on scheduling, customer service and training.
• Directs retail and vending to ensure proper product mix and pricing.
• Trains and oversees private party staff to maintain SOPs.
• Gains knowledge of technology platforms for bookings, scheduling and reporting.
• Maintains safety procedures and emergency action plan training for staff.

Looking for an Assistant Manager to oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School daily operations including staffing, swim lesson quality and safety, cash management, customer service, retail and vending department, birthday party operations and workplace employee activities.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Directs and controls the daily operations to ensure the school is running according to Goldfish standard operating procedures.
2. Helps the General Manager and Other managers fulfill all daily tasks.
3. Manages the staff Of Goldfish to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
4. Interacts with the Deck Staff and Swim Instructors on issues related to class scheduling, student progress, customer service, employee performance and training.
5. Provides direction in the retail and vending departments to ensure a proper mix of products and pricing is achieved.
6. Trains and oversees private party staff to ensure that the Goldfish standard operating procedures are being maintained.
7. Gains knowledge and experience in all technology platforms to achieve a high level Of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions.
8. Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the Goldfish pool operations to ensure understanding and satisfaction of Goldfish members.
9. Initiates and oversees workplace culture and employee interaction. Maintains a high level of employee satisfaction.
10. Directs and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures that pertain to the Goldfish facility, and trains all current staff on the Goldfish EAR
11. Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field.

Education/ Experience:

High school diploma or GED is required.

College degree preferred.
