Job summary

INDHP123 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with additional duties. Responsibilities include light electrical/plumbing repairs, responding to maintenance requests in occupied units, and upkeep of common areas and amenities.

The role requires HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and on-call availability. Reading, writing, and professional communication with residents and vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes.
• Six (6) months related experience including light electrical and plumbing.
• HVAC certification required.
• Must be able to read and write instructions, and to converse professionally with residents, coworkers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents with light maintenance repairs.
• Handle maintenance requests on occupied apartments (plumbing, appliances, carpentry, painting, roof repairs).
• Perform maintenance in leasing office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, models, pool areas, and fences.
• Maintain pool and Jacuzzi areas including chemical checks and repairs.
• Assess extraordinary maintenance needs and coordinate with Property Manager.
• Be available for on-call shifts and weather-related duties.
