Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to assist the maintenance supervisor in keeping the property in excellent condition. You will work with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities while prioritizing safety and policy adherence.

The role requires at least two years in apartment maintenance, a HS diploma, and EPA certification. You should own basic hand tools and have a valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel and work some weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant, transition, and recovery certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Manage system for handling resident service requests and schedule on-call rotation.
• Assist in maintaining property safety, records, and inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Assist in preparing the property for inspections and handle on-call duties.
