Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and help protect the property's physical integrity. You will work with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities, ensuring safety first and adherence to company policies.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in apartment maintenance, EPA certification, and a basic set of hand tools. English communication is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• EPA certification is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Assist maintenance supervisor and manage safety and policy compliance.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and make-ready status.
