Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants, located in Waltham, MA, seeks an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to ensure optimal operation of building systems across apartment communities. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor in planning, budgeting, bidding, and executing facility projects while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facilities maintenance, expertise in two or more trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC), and the ability to pre-diagnose issues and mentor

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance in multifamily or hospitality.
• Advanced experience in two or more trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting).
• Working knowledge of appliances required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting scope, budget tracking, scheduling, material and equipment requirements, subcontractor/vendor bidding and management, and overall planning and execution of facility and maintenance projects.
• Responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the community meet operations and safety standards.
• Assist in the management, development, and mentorship of facilities team members in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
• Complete unit inspections as needed and maintains orderly documentation.
• Pre-diagnose and troubleshoot various building systems prior to scheduling repairs.
• Repair issues and provide knowledge in areas including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, etc.
• Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company.
• Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership.
