As one of our Assistant Maintenance Supervisors, you are the Maintenance Supervisor's right-hand! You are cheerful, performance-driven, resident-focused, hardworking, seriously playful, and a mentor who goes the extra mile! Your passion is for quality, excellence in service, and team coaching!

Here are some essential qualities for being the best Assistant Maintenance Supervisor:

• Support the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Inspect and coordinate all make-ready repairs and services.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians to meet deadlines.
• Enforce safety measures.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring quality and quantity.
• Report major repairs and requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager before expenditure.
• Maintain shop, equipment, supplies, inventory, and ensure key security.
• Inspect tour routes and models to ensure they are in top condition.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications you likely already have:

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance-related skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, understanding).
• Computer skills and related applications.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and follow directions.
• A good sense of humor!

The salary range for this California position is between $32.50 and $38.50 per hour, based on experience and other factors.
