Job Description

Job Summary: The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor supports the maintenance department by planning and scheduling preventive maintenance (PM), managing spare parts inventory, and performing hands-on R&D lab testing. This role ensures equipment reliability through proactive maintenance planning and supports engineering and operations teams by conducting tests related to new materials, processes, or equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for all production and facility equipment.
2. Monitor and manage inventory levels of key spare parts; ensure availability for planned and unplanned maintenance.
3. Source, order, and track parts from suppliers; manage purchase orders and delivery timelines.
4. Perform R&D lab testing to support engineering, quality, and production initiatives (e.g., material trials, component durability, or process validation).
5. Coordinate with the maintenance team to support timely completion of PM tasks and equipment repairs.
6. Maintain accurate records of PM activities, parts usage, supplier data, and lab test results.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance planning, inventory management, or a related technical role.
• Basic knowledge of lab testing procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance scheduling systems is a plus.

This is a full-time position.

1st Shift 8am-5pm, may vary at times to come in earlier.
