Our TPO Division is looking to hire a Sales Assistant Team Lead.

Reports To Senior Director of Mortgage Lending

Salary Range $70K to $80K per year plus monthly bonus.
Summary As a Team Lead, they will help manage the day-to-day functions of the Sales Assistants, provide leadership, training and support to the team. This position provides a wide range of duties related to the day-to-day functions for TPO Lending Account Executives. Assists assigned Account Executives with a variety of business development, problem resolution and administrative services. Provides necessary support to increase production levels.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Help manage the pipelines and day to day functions of the Sales Assistants.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring of Sales Assistants.
- Maintain constant communication with the team to ensure their capacity levels are within expectations. Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Report team standings (service, production, expectations) to management.
- Provide individualized touch customer assistance to external and internal customers; assist in file discrepancy issues and provide follow up and resolution on all facets of the loan process.
- Function as a Sales Assistant and fulfill all requirements for accounts directly assigned.
- Business Development Support – prepare reports as requested by AE and management; prepare materials for conferences and presentations; coordinate and manage marketing to TPOs; introduce TPOs to companywide initiatives.
- Assist initial and annual customer recertification process.
- Constantly review pipelines to ensure that loans are on the correct path and assist where needed to move loans to the Relationship Manger.
- Work to solve issues noted by the Sales Assistants to promote an efficient and effective work experience.
- Reporting Support proactive support duties for Account Executives; create reports to support production management; assist with data base/account management; manage loan rush requests; create communications on specific topics and distribute to customers; complete special projects as assigned.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training.
- Maintains knowledge of and adhere to internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date procedures and training for all Sales Assistants.
- Manage and ensure that coverage is provided for each AE in the event of absence.
- Provides business development and marketing support.
- Assist in planning and booking of conferences and business marketing opportunities as needed. Attend conferences upon request.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 5+ years Sales Assistant or equivalent residential mortgage experience
