Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and uphold the property’s physical integrity. You will work with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities, while prioritizing safety and adherence to company policies.

The role requires at least two years in apartment maintenance or a related trade, EPA certification is a plus, and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and basic hand tools are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA certification is preferred for refrigerants.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Good verbal and written English communication; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Assist in maintaining safety, records, and make-ready status of apartments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and participate in on-call schedules.
