Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and safeguard the property’s physical integrity.

You’ll collaborate with the leasing team to maximize renewal and leasing opportunities, ensure safety, perform routine tasks, and respond to resident requests within 24 hours.

Requirements include at least two years in apartment maintenance, a high school diploma (EPA certification a plus), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; EPA certification preferred.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within major metropolitan areas and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests within 24 hours and manage on-call coverage.
• Assist in maintenance scheduling, safety compliance, and site inspections.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and make-ready status of vacant units.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Assist in preparing the property for inspections and support the property manager.
