Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, seeks an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across the Signature Collection properties. You will supervise technicians, coordinate daily and long-term residence upkeep, and ensure projects meet quality and time targets.

This role requires strong leadership, budgeting aptitude, and hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in a building maintenance or similar leadership position.
• Strong working knowledge of residence maintenance including mechanical, heating, cooling, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and exterior systems.
• Experience with modern maintenance control systems and work order programs; budgeting and procurement systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed; able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to maintenance staff across the Signature Collection portfolio.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, workload distribution, and scheduling; manage time sheets and payroll prerequisites.
• Formulate daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance assignments with attention to detail.
• Monitor progress of projects and adjust plans to ensure timely completion; communicate issues to leadership.
• Coordinate procurement and vendor relationships; oversee contractors and HOA/ homeowner billing processes.
