Job summary

Gables is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to uphold our signature service across the community. You’ll tackle HVAC repairs, plumbing and electrical tasks and general maintenance to deliver a positive living experience for residents.

You'll work on-call on a rotational basis and be accountable for building maintenance, unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and ensuring vacant and occupied homes meet the Gables Standard.

Qualifications

• Solution-driven; effective in HVAC, plumbing/electrical installs and general repairs.
• Flexible in being on-call on a rotational basis.
• Task-oriented and punctual for recurring community needs.
• Experienced in building maintenance, unit inspections and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community and deliver a positive living experience for residents.
• Handle HVAC repairs, plumbing/electrical installations, and general repairs.
• Serve on-call on a rotational basis 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
• Perform unit inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure vacant and occupied apartments meet the Gables Standard.
